As luck would have it, I happen to have a blog post almost ready to go on SSL so now seems like a good time to post it.
First, you should be aware that if you are using an SSL key smaller than 1024 bytes, you may find people are not going to be able to access your site using Internet Explorer. While some may consider this a blessing, it isn’t for everyone.
Second, what I really wanted to post about is a nifty little tool to test the SSL on your site. It provides good information about the SSL implementation on your site (uh, or anyone else’s site) including the size of your SSL key, the protocols you’re supporting and any vulnerabilities you may have.

Very handy if you’re headed into any type of a security audit or just care about your data.
